While the UK charts these days leave a lot to be desired when it comes to new entries. Bar Drake and Rihanna, the official rundown of the biggest tracks of the summer 16 also seems to bare little resemblance to the tracks you know we’ve actually been listening too on constant replay.
There hasn’t been one summer bbq that we know of where ‘Dance For Me’ hasn’t been kicking up moves so sensual and now Eugy & Mr Eazi, have finally delivered the official video for their Afrobeat banger.
With a constant parade of choreographed YouTube imitations and Vines, the original ‘Dance For Me’ video has already inspired all generations around the planet with their own moves.
Now for the real thing, watch the new video featuring the dab and Ashanti dance “Alkayida”, as Eugy and Mr Eazi celebrate the wave of love for their anthem with a whole crew of dancers taking us through the steps once again. Featured in our recent cover story, Mr.Eazi has already had us vibing on his wave, and linking up with Eugy to celebrate their Ghanian roots on this Team Salut production, ‘Dance For Me’ stands to become one of the biggest tracks of the Afrobeats scene.
Already stacking up 4.1 million plays on Spotify and over 6.5 million views on the first dance video, we’re not taking this late heatwave in September for granted and plan to keep ‘Dance For Me’ in continuous rotation as long as we can keep the summer vibes going.
