SG Lewis recently dropped a new track with label-mate Dornik and no lie it’s been on repeat ‘All Night’, getting us pretty amped about his forthcoming night at his sold out headline London show at Oslo on February 4th.
If you want to go on an all-nighter, SG Lewis seems to have a knack for making those sublime post-club jams and since his bedroom debut ‘Warm’ which went on to sell 10,000 copies and feature on HBO, his songs have a tendency to endure as slow burners. Since his residency at Liverpool’s notorious Chibuku club night at East Village Arts Club while an undergrad student, the PMR Records signee is synonymous with a new wave of U.K artist/producers like Mura Masa and Snakehips, adding his inventive spirit into the mix.
Pairing his loops, beatmaking and songwriting, with Dornik’s sublime vocals, SG Lewis describes ‘All Night’ as “my first attempt at channelling some nostalgia and 80s influences into one of my own tracks”.
