I can’t lie, we glowed up when we got word that Last Night In Paris were ready to drop some new material after what’s been a pretty prolonged year of waiting.
Since their last track ‘Close To You’ we’ve kept our eyes on the Last Night In Paris boys and you know what, they really do know how to drive us a little stir crazy sometimes with the waiting game. So finally, apparently the wait is over, the UK art collective return to release not one but two tracks back to back. Leading with their new single ‘Firedance’, replete with a flamin’ gif, check out the new LNIP video above which promises to be featured on the long anticipated ‘Pure’ EP out in November (no not 2015, but 2016). If you still don’t know who Last Night In Paris are, then check out their intro video from earlier this year below.
‘Firedance’ produced by MD$, features Jordon Wi-Fi, MD$, KC and Taurean Roye in their first full length visual since the Karim Huu Do directed ‘Pure’. A sultry, strings infused moody baseline, builds up the ‘Firedance’, into a hauntingly addictive track.
But it doesn’t end there – incase you missed it, LNIP aren’t just content to give us strings they’ve also dropped a smooth and jazzy R&B loosie, ‘Missed Calls’, which adds a new twist with piano and horns on another R&B escapade.
‘Pure’ EP is expected to run as a 6 track EP, and while the buzz around LNIP has previously created all sorts of waves, this time we’re hoping they’ll set alight some pure flames.
