If you’re ever looking for that two-stepping, feel-the-funk in your soul kind of music, Nxworries are the official suppliers. Comprising of singer/songwriter Anderson .Paak & producer Knxwledge, the duo have just released a new video for their single ‘Scared Money’ taken off their debut album ‘Yes Lawd!’.
‘Scared Money’ is directed by Calmatic and pays homage to the 2002 classic film Paid In Full, we see .Paak and Knxwledge reenact parts of the iconic film. Set in 1988 it’s the perfect nostalgic video, with a plethora of gold chains, Adidas t-shirts and the infamous sliders and socks. At one point .Paak plays an uninterested dry cleaner employee, who gets annoyed after his music is interrupted.
The epilogue of the video is set in a futuristic basketball court and showcases a new remix of ‘Best One’ which is produced by Knxwledge and taken off their soon to be released ‘Yes Lawd!’ Remix album.
‘Scared Money’ is that classic psychedelic funk and the perfect vibe teaser for the next installation of ‘Yes Lawd!’.
