‘One Dance’ had a certified UK smash written all over it with it’s fusion of Hip Hop, AfroBeat and UK Funky House, rising straight to the no.1 spot.
‘One Dance’ also features WizKid and Kyla, who’s original recording of the Crazy Cousinz iconic remix of ‘Do You Mind’ came out back in 2009 on Defenders Ent and Northern Line Records.
Drake had his ear to the ground and a view to reaching the top with Nineteen85 on hand to cleverly rework the funky house classic adding in a steady on grindin’ kind of dancehall feeling.

According to this week’s update on the single charts update for the U.K, Drake is sitting at the top the chart and could be on his way to secure his first no.1 single by the end of the week according to the Official Charts.
This will be Drakes first no.1 single as a solo artist, previously only sharing the top spot with Rihanna as a featured artist on ‘What’s My Name’.
‘Views’ projections have appeared in London at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Initially assumed to be the official album cover artwork, reps from Island Records in the U.K have now clarified that it is indeed only the teaser art of the campaign and not the official cover.
First announced on the OVO Sound Radio show at the end of January, Drake hinted that ‘Views From The 6’ would be released in April. Pitchfork have cited sources who say that the album may be arriving at the end of the month and also confirmed that the projected artwork was also designed by Filip Pagowski whose work has previously graced campaigns for Commes des Garçons. Now as the global campaign kicks off with new sightings of projections, billboards and teasers, it looks like the release could be sooner than we think.
Initially presumed to be a windowed exclusive with Apple Music only, within minutes of Drake’s surprise Twitter drops of the singles, Tidal surprised fans by streaming the both tracks on its streaming service. In retrospect it’s no surprise that Tidal got in on the action, given that Jay’s all about the business and a feature from The Throne aka Jay-Z and Kanye West would surely have to come with a quid pro quo deal.
