Chance the Rapper has dropped another classic release SURF with Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, we headed backstage to catch up with Chance, Peter Cottontale and Ady Suleiman for exclusive interviews after the ‘crazy’ show at the Electric Brixton in London.
In the video, Chance talks about the ‘togetherness of Surf’; the important tracks from the album and how the sessions came about; how he met Busta Rhymes while making ‘Slip Slide’ and got him involved in the track; how J.Cole was there at the inception of ‘Warm Enough’ and why he gave the music away for free.
“That moment when somebody first hears surf its not really meant to have a price tag on it – I don’t think its valued by money, there are always other ways to support Social Experiment.”
Its not meant to be for sale
