Since her debut ‘Ego‘, Bibi Bourelly has still got more to say to “fuck all the haters” and with the drop of her new single ‘Sally’, the 21 year old singer/songwriter, is putting more sass on show.
Premiered by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show last night ‘Sally’ comes hot off of Bibi’s appearance at the Grammy Awards with Diplo, Dillon Francis and Skrillex, where she performed with The Roots at the annual Grammy Jam.
Bibi’s already clocked up a hot resume writing for Rihanna, Usher, Lil Wayne and Selena Gomez, before scoring her first breakout single in the U.K with ‘Talk To Me’, a collaboration with rapper Nick Brewer. Turning heads on her performance on Usher’s ‘Chainz‘, Bibi Bourelly took her sound to a new league of fans.
LA based and German raised in an artistic family, her father is the prolific jazz and Black Rock Coalition guitarist Jean-Paul Bourelly, of Haitian and American descent; and her mother, of Moroccan descent, was the head of the Art Department at Berlin’s House of World Culture. Taking her solo artistic endeavours global, Bibi looks ready to bring it and go for a takeover – what do you think?
