Afro B returns with brand new single ‘Pull Up’.
Following a whirlwind summer, live performance at Glastonbury with Emeli Sande, the release of his 21 track compilation ‘Moves’ and the major success of ‘Juice & Power’ Afro B continues to ride his very own Afrowave on his latest track ‘Pull Up.’
From his start in music as a DJ to his evolution as a recording artist Afro B has always sought out ways to stand apart from the pack, now with the UK Afrobeats scene flourishing, it’s no longer a style that’s considered ‘other’. “I think the UK as a culture has accepted the African as much as the Caribbean now,” he told me when we spoke earlier this year “especially because of the culture we bring there’s a lot of us, our sound can kind of gel to the Caribbean sound.”
Laced with percussion, with a groove in every pocket, ‘Pull Up’ is the newest addition to an Afrowave shows no sign of fading.
